Wikipedia-style, community editedNow just a ruin, Codnor Castle was originally built in the 13th-century by William Peverel (See also Peveril Castle) and is a is a stone keep and bailey fortress. The location is notorious for ghostly sightings, from phantom hounds, Cromwellian soldiers, to headless horsemen.

I went to Connor Castle and my phone that was on 100% died within 5 minutes. My head was heavy and I'd gotten a migraine that got worse the longer I was there. We were exploring in the outbuilding and as we left i looked back and saw Mollie in graffiti on the wall through was once the window. I looked back and it had vanished. Immediately after I left my headache lifted.
