Strutts Old School Belper

Built in 1909, Strutt’s Old School is a former Edwardian building that has gained a reputation as one of Derbyshire’s most haunted locations. Its long, dim corridors and empty classrooms are said to echo with disembodied voices, sudden cold spots, and the unsettling feeling of being watched. Visitors have reported sightings of former staff and pupils, as well as a darker presence known as “Black Alice,” whose screams are said to linger within the walls.
